Twiga Remote Disconnection Utility for Broadband too?

I've been using twiga's excellent Remote Disconnection Utility ver 1.1 for my
2-system LAN client/host narrowband dial-up internet connection on XP.
Now that I've switched to Broadband, I find it doesn't function as before.
Do I need to upgrade it?

Miles,

if I'm not mistaken, Windows XP now has this ability built in.
Try uninstalling the utility entirely.

Thanks Hans-Georg. I remember finding it impossible to get XP to do this
early in the year when I got the LAN set up, and was pointed to RDU by a
really helpful MVP on this site - the guy who I think is behind the
PracticallyNetworked website. Can't remember his name. RDU filled the gap
perfectly.

Got the rdserver.exe update from twiga, ran it on the Host and now I can
connect/disconnect from the Client as before.

Miles,

that must be my fellow MVP Steve Winograd, and his
recommendations are always good. He also still visits this
newsgroup, but apparently didn't happen to be here when your
message came in.

Ah, problem solved! That's good to hear.

p.s. By the way, twiga is the Kiswaheli word for giraffe. Not
that it would interest anyone ...
