Twain Problems

I have a Cannon Scanner connected to a W2K machine and up until last night it
was working fine. Now when I try to use it is says that it is unable to open
the twain source. Other programs that I have which link to the scanner also
cannot find the twain source. Stimon is running and the scanner shows and
checks out in control panel. As far as I know I have not changed any settings
or installed any new programs that could have affected it. Any suggestions

I would reinstall the scanner.

Windows won't load the scanner driver if windows can't find the scanner at
boot up. Make sure the scanner is plugged in and turned on when you boot
up.

Scanner always plugged in. Powered by USB. Have tried reinstalled drivers still nothing.
