Scanner, twain driver problem

I had a canon N650U and my environement is windows 2000
server. I could not install my scanner. The sofware
installation tells that there is no twain driver
installed. And when I wan install this twain driver from
the N650U.inf file contained in the scanner CD sofware it
doesn't work, any idea I should admit that I am lost.
