Turn off information pop-ups

Hi there:
I would like to turn off the pop-up call out message I get on my new
computer, every time I print or plug in a set of earphones, etc. For
example, with the earphone jacks as soon as I plug them in it pops up with a
message saying, "Information - A jack has been plugged in"

That is a windows problem, not outlook. But try changing this reg key value
to 0

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced]
"EnableBalloonTips"=dword:00000000


if it doesn't help (may need to reboot) - check with the windows experts.
