I have an HP Pavilion 751x machine with XP Professional SP2 installed. I now have 2 tun miniport adapters listed in my devices table. Both show an error that says "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)." When I try to uninstall them, I am told they cannot be uninstall because "they MAY be required to boot up the computer". I am fairly certain they are vestigial. Any advice for removing them will be greatly appreciated.
