TS slow

Hi All,

Recently my client reported that the TS service running the application is
slow.

What could be the cause? how should i diagnose it?

The server spec is PIII 1.266GHz x 2, 2.5GB RAM and 18.2GB HDD 10K.

The server allow 25 user to login and use the application in the server.

What have you checked?

Any single process dominating the CPU?
How much Physical RAM in use?
How much pagefile in use?
Is it like this with no users logged on?
Is performance also slow at the server console?
Is the NIC duplex setting set correctly?
Server's local hard drive has sufficient free space?
Monitoring the serformance with MMC System Monitor Control during the day so
you can see when performance goes south.
Have baselinesof what system resources are used with no users logged on,
with one user logged on, with 5, 10...
Checked for spyware/malware/virus/trojan/worm?
Any new programs or hardware installed?
Have a backup from before performance degraded?
