Dear Newsgroup folks,
I'm not IT person or expert of any kind with computers. My new computer
has a Windows Vista operating system, and my internet service provider
(Earthlink) informs me that the Earthlink e-mail program is not yet
workable with Windows Vista but will/might be when Service Pact 1 becomes
available.
My computer and/or Earthlink directed me to the Windows mail system, which
automatically sends and receives e-mail from my Earthlink e-mail address.
But I can't figure out how to reach newsgroups other than the collection
of Microsoft news groups from which discovered your address.
Can Windows mail access news groups other than Microsoft groups, such as
the groups about Italy and Sicily that I'm searching for? If so, could you
direct me to a "how-to" site to help me access other news groups?
Thanks,
Lou Chibbaro

Hi I have made the folders for Outlook and Databases trusted locations
but
whenever I click a hyperlink to open either Outlook or another
database, I
get 2 security messages.
Is there any way to stop these security messages from popping up?
I don't have access to the registry for Office 2007 right now, but here
is
the reg file to disable security prompts in Access 2003. You'll need to
check for Access 12 in the registry for Access 2007:
REGEDIT4
; This will kill the Access 2003 security warnings
[[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Access\Security]
"Level"=dword:00000001
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Jet\4.0\Engines]
"SandBoxMode"=dword:00000000
