Troubleshooting the Microsoft Computer Browser Service (Windows 20

I have a server with 2 NIC cards (Multihomed). 1 NIC is on the LAN side and 1
NIC is used to backup the rest of the servers on a separate subnet and
separate switch. Sometimes when both cards are enabled, when trying to browse
the "entire network" no computers or servers show up, but if I disable the
card on the “backup†side the computers and servers come back. Because this
server is holding the PDC emulator roll it affects the browser list of all of
the computers on the domain.

Here is my question…is there a registry setting that I can use to force the
Domain Controller to look only to only the LAN NIC card to create the
browser list.

Master Browsing issue on Multihomed DC

You may experience browsing and/or NetBIOS name resolution problems if you install a DC on multihomed server. This is because each browser service bounds to each interface operates independently and does not merge the browse list for separate networks. The master browser is confused.

Resolution: Try to unbind the WINS Client (TCP/IP) interface from all your adaptors except for one

How do i unbind WINS client on a 2003 server? Do I just go to WINS, then
"disable NetBIOS from TCP/IP"?
