browser problems

Hi
My windows enivronment consist of 3 Windows 2000 domain controllers configured in native mode. DC which is PDC emulator is configured as a RAS server too. When RAS server acquires IP address it registers netbios names 1B (Domain master browser) and 1C (Domain controller) for it in Wins service. I suppose it's the reason of problems with browser service, because computer is multihomed for backup browsers and they are not able to get server list from this ip. Do you have any idea how to avoid this ?. Microsoft recommends for situation like this to unbind tcp/ip protocol from one of the nic, but I don't know how to do this and even it is possible I'm not sure if RAS server will operate properly after reconfiguration.

I would be greatfull for your help

VPN server is a Virtual Multihomed Server

After enabling RRAS on a DC with WINS and DNS server, you may have some
Master Browser or/and WINS issues. That reason is that VPN server is a
Virtual Multihomed Server. The resolution is to disable NetBIOS Over TCP/IP
on all interfaces including RRAS interfaces except the internal interface.

Hi
Thank for your reply. I think you're right RRAS service is the reason of my problems. When I looked at system logs I found information that one of IP addresses was acquired by Ras Server Adapter (event id 20088). I checked this and I found that there are two ip addresses registered with WINS. Unfortunatelly I'm not able to turn off netbios over ip on this interface, because I don't know where to find it. Maybe it's because of it's network ip for incoming RAS connections so there is no network connection in "network and dialup connections".
I would be greatfull for any clue :).
