trouble with word 2007

I WAS EDITING MY DISSERTATION DOCUMENT USING WORD 2007. I HAVE USED ENDNOTE
CITATION MANAGER AND WHILE REFERNCING SOMTHING WENT WRONG AND NOW ALL OTHER
APPLICATIONS USED IN THE DOCUMENT SUCH AS GRAPHS MADE BY USING EXCEL , FLOW
CHARTS AND THE REFERCES DO NOT APPEAR IN THE USUAL WAY INSTEAD OF GIVING THE
REFERNCE NUMBER A WEARID KIND OF TEXT APPEARS GIVING ALL THE DETAILS OF
SOFTWARE ETC, AND WHEN I DO RIGHT CLICK AND CLICK ON TOGLE FIELD CODES I
MANAGE TO GET THE REFERNCE NUMBER BUT THIS DO NOT WORK FOR GRAPHS...
CAN ANYONE HELP.
I WILL BE GRATEFUL

Alt-F9 will switch between all the field codes and the actual text.

For the Excel charts, someone will probably be able to help if you can
explain how you inserted them into your Word2007 document.
