Do all useraccounts exist on all computers?

As of right now, the answer is "no". Not all user accounts exist on
all computers. I only have 2 computers in this network.

What baffles me logically is that one of the 2 computers has no
problem whatsoever getting to "shared" folders on the other one BUT
when trying to go the other way around, I get the "no logon
servers...." error.

(Note: The XP Home machine can access the Win2000 one - but not vice
versa.)

Seeing that I do NOT already have the accounts setup on all PCs
exactly as on others, I am confused as to logically why this would be
a solution. I can see how this solution could get VERY messy when I
add PC's #3, 4, etc. in the future.

So, why is it working in one direction now but not the other?

Make sure your 2 computers are in the same workgroup, that File- and
Printersharing is loaded, that Netbios over WINS on the Advanced TCP/IP
properties is checked and that all useraccounts exist on both computers.

Try that first and come back with the exact errormessage if this doesn't
work.
Are you using static IP's on both computers? Are they in the same subnet and
is the subnetmask the same? Are both computernames different?
