Trouble with copy-and-pasting attachments between Outlook messages.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open a Outlook 2003 message with an attachment.
2. Right-click attachment and select Copy.
3. Create a new message.
4. Right click in body and select Paste.

What's supposed to happen is you're supposed to see the attachment you
copy pasted as an attachment into a new message. But that doesn't
happen here. Or, to be more precise, it works every once in awhile.

As far as I can tell, doing this is normal behavior and it should
work.

I've tried repairing Office 2003, removing temp files and temp
internet files. No Joy! :-O

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Have you tried open a new mesasge and then simply dragging the attachment
from the old one to the new one?

Your problem may be with the Outlook Secure Temp folder. See is this helps:

I'm sorry, Brian. I should have been more specific.

What happens is.... nothing. The attachment doesn't appear. You can
look in the clipboard and see the copied attachment, but it does NOT
paste into the message

I have not, but I will try. :)

I will check this out, too. Thanks.
