Trouble Copying Records from one Access Database to Another

I have two seperate databases for two different sales people. I am trying to
copy records from one database to the other. I was able to do this in 2003
without a problem, sometimes I had paste errors when the GradeId was not in
the tblGrades of the new database, but I would add the GradeId to the new
database tblGradse and then paste the records. The problem I am experiencing
now is instead of matching the GradeId when pasting the record, the database
is matching the ID field which is assigned an AutoNumber, which do match from
one database to another. I have checked the design view in the database and
do not see a primary key assisgned to any field, not even the ID field-what
do I do?

can't answer why something once worked and does not now...but for a definite
solution you can create an append query rather than copy
