I have burnt like 20 cds in the past and had never really ran across any
problem i couldn't figure out but for some reason i can't burn any blank cds.
Everytime i go to burn cd it says that there is no blank cd in. I can play
cds and dvds with no problem

I went to a Windows XP CD Burning Secrets
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/learnmore/bott_03september16.mspx
like someone else said to do but I tried everything on the list in Fix a
Balky Burner, I tried everything i could think of,
Please help

Click the My Computer icon on your desktop>rightclick the CD-Rom drive
Click Properties>Recording tab
Click "Enable CD recording on this device"
Click Apply and OK
Note: If you have no Recording tab than your CD-Rom may not be a burner
or is not properly installed.

I have the same problem, its says i dont have a blank cd in. I have tried
what Byte has said and still get the same thing. This has frustrated me for
months. I even went to Best Buy and bought new cd's to see if the ones I had
were bad. But the same thing came up, need a blank cd. Is there anyone that
can help with this problem, I have alot of music i want to put on cds and
just cant do it. I even downloaded several other programs to see if it would
work and same thing. Thanks in advance...
