trojan horse virus

My computer keeps telling me i have a trojan horse
virus, and tells me to run AVG for windows to remove it,
which i do but it keeps coming back, any help on other
ways of getting rid of it [please]. Running XP with
nortonetc

Yep.
Just tells you you have "a trojan horse virus". Does no one here any good,
nor you - which one is it?

i had the problem get this trojan remover 4.7.1 its free

Chuck

You may have to clear your restore files by turning off system restore
before you run a virus scan. If it is hiding in these files, you can get it
out. Turning off system restore, deletes the files. Good luck!
