Trojan horse Dropper.Small.15.0.

On another PC I have, I've just found that I have the virus Trojan
horse Dropper.Small.15.0.

What does this virus do?
I assume my anti virus program AVG will get rid of it.
Do I need to take extra measures?

BUT... the thing is... I keep my antivirus program AVG ALWAYS uptodate.
The files that the virus was found in had been checked before running.
I've since unistalled taht program - but I would assume that I have a
virus problem still?

WHY wasn't the virus picked up earlier?

Any advice would be appreciated.

You need to scan your system from time to time with another scanner.
