Trend Security??

Hi I currently use Trend Micro 7.5 security purchased
July 04 is the Microsoft beta Antispyware compatable with
my virus checker? I did try one of the free ones before
(not Microsoft) and it must have made changes to my Trend
cos it kept telling me it couldnt find the virus
protection. I just want to be safe....not sorry!

I haven't seen others posting compatibility issues with Trend products.
There are a few with some of the newest Norton security suites, but there
shouldn't be anything an uninstall won't correct.

Hi Diane. I updated to Trend Micro PC-cillin 2004 last

September (I stuck with Trend Micro because I had no
problems with the 2003 version). I had already updated
the XP SP2 package. I elected to retain the Trend Micro
Firewall in preferance to the XP firewall ( was advised
not to run the two together)- I turned of the MSXPSP2
Firewall. There have not been any problems. Installed MS
Beta Spyware the other day - so far so good - does not
appear to have clashed with anything else.

Whenever I get stuck I find the guys at MS Help to be
great.
