Transfer Outlook Express to my new Dell Vista?

Hello,

While trying to add my msn.com Outlook Express email account to my new Dell
Vista, I receive an error message suggesting I use Windows Live.

That's fine, but I really want to migrate all my old emails/contacts to my
new Vista.

Is this possible?

Thanks!

You cannot access your (e-mail address removed) via WebDAV in Windows Mail (or in
Outlook Express since 01 Sept-09).

To set up POP3 access to your MSN account in Windows Mail, see the
Configuration Settings on this page:
http://mailcall.spaces.live.com/Blog/cns!CC9301187A51FE33!49799.entry

NB: Set Outgoing server (SMTP) to Port 587, not Port 25!

Windows Mail's new account wizard is hard-coded to reject (e-mail address removed)
and (e-mail address removed) addresses. When you enter your email address during setup,
use a dummy one (e.g., (e-mail address removed)). After you've finished, go back
and change the email address to the correct one.

YW! Glad it helped somebody.
Thx for the FAQs. Links. I moved my OE 6 DBX files into WinMail. Worked
like
a charm!
