How can I transfer the addresses from my notebook Address Book to the newly
installed WindowsXP on my Desktop PC?
I tried File>Import...., but no luck.
Thanks for any help,
Gerry

In Outlook Express, On the laptop select File --> Export and select Address
book. Copy that onto the new computer, choose File --> Import, and select
the file. That should do it!

To make it more clearer, on the laptop select File --> Export and select
Address book > I recommend that you choose the Text File (comma-separated
values-CSV) format as it's more portable and can be recovered if something
happens since it's just a basic text file > Name the file (ex. Address) >
click the Next button > check the boxes for the fields you wish to export >
click Finish. On the Desktop, choose File --> Import > Other Address Book >
Text File (comma-separated values-CSV) > click the Import button > Browse to
the file > click Open > click Finish.

Thank you very much, Rey, I will try that.
