Tracking Tab & Read Receipts

I am running Outlook 2003 on Windows XP Pro. I request
read receipts on all emails. I am receiving the receipts
with no problem. However, the Tracking Tab does not show
up on my Sent emails for me to see the details after the
receipt has been processed.

I do have the "Process receipts upon arrival" box checked
in the Options menu.

I was previously running Outlook 2000 in Win98 and did
not have this problem.

Are you in an Exchange environment? Make sure the receipts are marked as
read and are deleted from the Inbox (and Deleted Items) folder and the tab
will show up.

I am having the same problem, a workaround is to delete
the receipt (this then updates your sent message with the
tracking tab)

However I thought the "Process receipts upon arrival" (and
the "after processing move to ...") is meant to take care
of it all automatically???? I doesnt on my machine.

Any further advise appreciated. (i already tried an
outlook repair but no good).

And what is the exact problem you are having and with what version of
Outlook?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
