tracking response in custom view?

I am trying to design a custom view that will show me events, including
the tracking response for each attendee (accepted, declined, tentative,
none). Is the tracking field available to select as a viewable field?
It doesn't appear to be - so might it be possible to have a custom
field populated via code with the tracking response property for a
particular attendee?

Does anyone have any other suggestions for viewing a tabular layout of
attendee responses outside of the actual appointment form?

No. There is no "tracking field." Tracking data is held in the properties of
each Recipient.
