This is where the file is located C:\WINDOWS\system32
\LogFiles\WMI\trace.log
I have scanned my machine with Panda Soft Antivirus and
Norton, neither has found anything. I found some
reference to Boot vis. I found that and ran that, NOTHING
FOUND!! This file enlarges to over 20 GIG (That is the
free space on my C Drive). If I reboot, the file drops
back to zero bytes. I cannot delete it, and I have not
changed anything on my machine, so I do not know why this
file just all of a sudden blows up to that size.
I have a fire wall running at all times (Router Firewall
and Norton Internet security). Please, if anyone knows
how to fix this stupid thing, please let me know. I am
not leaving my email address here as there is too much
SPAM. I will check back in a day or two.
Thank you very much for any help you can offer.
