Toshiba M35 Laptop Safe Mode problem

I am trying to access anything that will help me repair/recover the
computer. I cannot access the BIOS to change the boot sequence so as to get
to the DVD/CD drive and it immediately goes to the boot menu in which all
options lead to the BSOD with a bad_pool_caller error message that stays on
the screen momentarily and immediately restartst the computer. There is no
option to stop the auto restart so it loops continually. The Toshiba
website is of no assistance. When I choose Safe Mode boot the loading
sequence hangs at agp440.sys and then goes to the BSOD. I am pretty sure it
is a corrupt video driver, but I cannot get even to the commnad prompt to
fix it. The computer holds the business information for a new startup
company and its owner did not back it up so reformat is the last option open
to me. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Assuming the laptop is already powered off, try this way:
Press the Esc key firmly and than press the power on button simultaneously,
keep pressing both the Esc key and the power on button until it boot into
BIOS setup menu. If successfully boot into BIOS, change the boot sequence
that the CD or DVD rom drive to be the first boot device. Boot with a XP CD
to recovery console.

Hope it helps.
