Toolpak Add-In problem

I have tried to add the Analsyis Toolpak add-in, but still cannot find the
xNPV formula. The green tick is there in the add-ins, but it doesnt seem to
have worked. If i just type the xNPV formula, it comes up with the #NAME
error. Any advice?

Hi,

One problem is that when you attach the ATP it sometimes doesn't stick.
Choose Tools, Add-ins, and uncheck the Analysis ToolPak and click OK. The do
it again, this time checking it. If that doesn't work, try closing and
restarting Excel.

or

"You might try finding your *.xlb toolbar files and renaming them to *.old
as these files often become corrupted. Excel will create a new one based on
factory settings the next time it launches. On most computers, the file is
called Excel.xlb, and is located in C:\Documents and Settings\your
name\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel. Your name and location may vary, so I
suggest using the Search tool in Windows Explorer to find all of the *.xlb
files."
