Toolbar Icons will not toggle to large

Last week my system lost power suddenly and thus did not
go through shutdown. When power was restored, the system
booted and seemed normal. Except that the Toolbar Icons in
IE 6 had changed from large to small! If I go to the
toolbar and click "customize", the normal dialog appears.
I can move icons, but the icons remain small even when set
to large in the dialog box. Anyone know what's been
corrupted?
