toolbar buttons

I have always been able to customise my drawing toolbar by dragging the icons
I want onto the toollbar. When I do this in Word 2003, it still works but
when I close the document and reopen another blank document the icon has
disappeared again whereas in previous versions of Word it has always remained
on the toolbar. Any ideas?

I suspect you are not just closing the document, but closing Word, and that
you have Adobe Acrobat 7 installed. If so, let us know.

Thanks Graham
I have used shift+file then save all and that has solved it. Much obliged,
this problem has been driving me nuts!!

This "workaround" works great - thanks for the input. You would think Adobe
would catch this with an update.
