Hi janet
When I try to access internet options from tools button on
my browser I get a message. The operation has been
cancelled due to restrictions in place on this computer.
Please contact your administrator. I am able to get into
internet options from control panel with no problem.
Try the following and see if it helps:
Restore Toolbars in Internet Explorer and/or Windows® Explorer

Type this command in the RUN box, and press Enter:
Rundll32 Iedkcs32.dll,BrandCleanInstallStubs
The Windows Update menu text and it's corresponding URL is reset to factory
defaults.

If these steps do not resolve your problem, please post back to this thread
