By creating Folders that you drop your programs into.As an example by
creating a folder called Audio...you can drop all audio related programs
into it.
This is done by right clicking the start bar...explore all user.........find
your user name ..expand programs and hightlight programs
Then at the top under file..new....folder....give it a name and push enter
now drag and drop the appropriate programs into the folder.Repeat as many
times as is required.

Just as a side note, not all programs create entries in the 'Start-All
Programs' area. Additionally, some installers provide for not creating
program groups. For these you can create entries yourself by creating
folders and shortcuts.

Look here for examples:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs
C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Start Menu\Programs
C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Start Menu\Programs
