too many open PST files?

Is there a limit to the number of PST files that can be open at once? Its
telling me there is - "the mapi sub-system maintains a limit to the number
of pst files that can be open..."

If this is the case, is there a work around? a regedit maybe? I've
exhausted the Internet search.

Depends on your version of Outlook. How many pst-files have you connected
now?

Outlook 2003. we're actually using a 3rd party recovery tool to restore
multple mailboxes to separate pst files. Its actually not alot of data in
each pst. (not one pst file is over 5mb). I'd say about 100-125 pst files are
going to be created. Outlook does not open them that I can see as Outlook is
not even running. The recovery tool just creates PST files in a folder i
choose. after 105 i receive the error i mentioned. just wondering if there
is something I can do.
