TOC hyperlinks trigger Web Bar display

I have set up a TOC of contents, in Word 2002, based on outline levels, where each item in the TOC acts as a hyperlink. I have selected, under Web Preview options, “Use hyperlinks instead of page numbersâ€. I actually use the Print Layout View and this document is not associated with a web page, but I like navigating though this document using the TOC rather than Document Map. Each time I click on an item in the TOC, the Web Tool Bar is displayed. I neither need nor want this tool bar displayed. How can I always keep the display of this tool bar suppressed?

Thank you,
Tom McNamara
