Timeline won't show video

When I import the video into WMM and preview it from the Collections tab they
work just fine, but as soon as I put them in the timeline and try to watch
them they stop working. This is currently happening with AVI and WMV files
which I find quite odd.

I'm using WMM 2.0 (please don't tell me to upgrade as a solution because I
don't have the space for SP2 and 2.1 is not available as a seperate download.)

I also have the same problem... and the stangest thing is when I start
reading the first clip in the timeline, all the movie play with out problem.
But as soon as I try to watch in the time line from any point that is not the
beginning, it won't play. Reading any clip in the library will work.

Does someone have a solution????

Hi.

I Had a similar problem. I used "asf avi rm wmv repair" (available at
download.com) to find out that my avi file was corrupted. With that
application, you can repair the file, but it took too much time when I tried,
so I prefered re-import my video from my camcorder!
