Time Zone Setting and Clock Format

For some reason my desktop clock displays time in, 24 hour format. How do I
return the format, to standard 12 hour format. Also, when I go to "Date &
Time Properties" in Control Panel, the Time Zone tab only displays a partial
global map and only displays my time zone (Eastern Time US & Canada). Also
the Date & Time tab is in 24 hour format. Are these related problems? How do
I correct them? I have searched through the Microsoft Knowledge Base and
find nothing addressing these issues. Please help!!!!

Go back to the Control Panel, click Date, Time, Language, Regional Options.
The click "Change the format of numbers, dates and times". I think you'll
figure it out from there.

Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Regional Options tab > Click
the Customize button. On the Customize Regional Options box click the Time
tab > On the Time Format field replace the upper case "H" to lower case
(small "h"). Click Apply then OK. The time on the Notification area should
change to the 12 hour format.

The global map display will shift sideways to another zone if you change
your Time Zone.
