Time Stamp in Front Page 2002

Nick

Hi Everyone,

I am using Frontpage 2002 with Windows 98SE and am having a problem
with the time stamp on my website. When I make changes to my website
on the hard drive the time stamp will reflect the date the changes are
made. However, when I publish the website and view it on line the date
the changes were made have not been updated.

Also when the website is opened in Frontpage the time stamp is
correct. However, when the website is viewed through explorer the date
stamp is incorrect? It appears that the same file is being accessed
through Frontpage and explorer.

Am I doing something wrong or is there a way to make this work?

Any help that could be offered would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,

Nick

This sort of things usually occurs when you change files
without going through FrontPage. FrontPage keeps its own
timestamp for each file in your Web, and if you bypass
FrontPage, this tiemstamp can get out of whack.
