Time errors

Good afternoon
I`m using at my unique DC the command;
net time /setsntp:time.microsoft.com
but at my event viewer appears an error that says that the ntp server
didin`t respond.

What`s wrong?

Do you have port 123 open both into and out of your Firewall?

Also, in addition to what Cary said, you may find the servers listed here a
better choice:
-- http://support.microsoft.com/?id=262680

I've had issues connecting to time.windows.com. Try one of the others
instead.

I have openned the 123 port.
w32tm -once works well sincronize with time.windows.com
but when I restart the time service "net start w32time" appears an error at
my event view.

Is this a periodic thing? Sometimes they don't respond -and I bet *that*
particular server is pretty heavily used.

Enable logging and see if it's synchronising more than it's not:
