Time and Date Problem

I'd would be very thankful if someone had some advice, the time and date on
my computer is incorrect and i have tried to reset it. But everytime set it
to the year 2007 and

Since this problem occured, the only thing that is displayed on the screen
when i log in is the desktop background. There are no icons or anything.

I assume that because of the date, my icons and taskbar as well as my start
button will not be displayed.

Please may someone help, I have run out of ideas. Please may someone help me.

You may also want to run a Windows Update. Make sure it installs the Hotfix
KB928388. This will take care of the adjustment for the new daylight savings
time dates.
