tif files and xp os

..tif files embedded in a word document do not open with
windows xp where they opened fine with Windows 2000. Any
help would be appreciated.

If you have the MS Office or MS Word CD, run the setup, opt for Add or
Remove Features, and make sure that the Graphics Converters that you need
are installed. If not, install them.

Do you have Word or MS Office installed in XP? You can't open .tif
files without the proper viewer or filter installed. If you just need
a .tif viewer, go to www.download.com and do a search for
"irfanview" a free file viewing program.
