Thumbnails all messed up??

I did a lot of file name reassigning and I just noticed that many of
the assigned names do not match the thumbnail yet when I switch from
thumbnail to detailed view, the names all match the photos.

Is there some way to get the thumbnail in sync with their proper
captions.

Thanks in advance.

It may help to open the folder and go to...
View / Refresh.

It also may be worth a try to go to...Tools /
Folder Options / View tab...and place a check in
the "Do not cache thumbnails" box / Apply / OK.

Here's some info on that:

And one last thought...have a look at the
following article:

for a folder are lost or incorrect

You can download TweakUI from the following site.
It has an option to increase Folder Customizations

Thanks John

I tried as you suggested without luck so next I tried cutting and
pasting all the pictures (less thumbs.db) in that folder to another
folder and lo and behold everything was straightened out.

Thank you!
