Thoughts on Canon I9100 vs Epson 2100

Any thoughts on the new canon i 9100 ?

How is it compared to the top of the line 7 colour Epson 2100 (that's the
model no. in Aust. Different overseas i think)

Print quality excellent on both.

Canon prints with dyes, this Epson prints with pigments.

Huge difference. Pigments are much fussier to print with;
very difficult (or impossible) to print on glossy surfaces
with pigment inks.

The advantage of pigments is that the prints last much,
much longer.
