In the main screen of Windows Mail, (not the compose screen), go to
Tools, Options, Spelling.
First select another language, click Apply. Then reselect English and click OK.

If you are asking about Messenger, you will need to post in its dedicated
newsgroup.

I go to tools, like everyone is saying, but when I do that there is no
options for me to click on too. There is a spelling one to click on too.
But is I click on to that I just get the same message "This language is no
longer available for spell checking." Where do I find where I can choose a
language?

before sending, made sure it was on english then clicked Apply, ok. It worked

Microsoft needs to hire a team of "challenged computer operators" like us
average people. They would quickly learn that their instructions and
expectations for their average computer users ARE NOT UNDERSTANDABLE AND
USEABLE.
Come on guys, unless I've been in a coma for the past ten years and missed a
major change in our country, ENGLISH is still our primary language, and
therefore should still be available !!

In the main windows Mail program window (not in a message composition
window).
Click on
Tools - Options.. - Spelling
Toggle the setting by selecting a different language, click on Apply, then
select English, Apply.

I don't know why people expect that a computer should be as easy
to operate as a toaster. Every specialty has its own terminology.
If the terminology mystifies you, take a beginner's PC course at
your local community college. Many organizations also offer free
computer lessons.
