I go to tools, like everyone is saying, but when I do that there is no
options for me to click on too. There is a spelling one to click on too.
But is I click on to that I just get the same message "This language is no
longer available for spell checking." Where do I find where I can choose a
language?

Go to: Tools>Options...this will open the Options window, select the
Spelling Tab, under the Language heading you will see a drop down box, click
it then select another language other than English, click on the Apply
button and then OK, that will close Options. Now reopen the Options go to
the Spelling tab and select the language you want the spell check in windows
mail to check. If its English select it then Apply, then OK button and your
done. Until you wish to spell check in one of the other three languages that
WM will spell check in.

I should have also said you can not do this from a New Message window the
one you use for composing and editing. Open Windows Mail only. Then you
can follow the directions I gave you. A faster way to get to the Spelling
tab in the Options dialog box is: Alt+T will open the tools context menu,
then type a "o" as in the word Opti"o"ns, the Options window/dialog box will
open and you should be able to locate the Spelling Tab and then follow the
directions given to set your spell check language.
Good Luck

SO WHAT IS THE ANSWER How do we fix the above problem?

Tools menu of the MAIN PAGE of Windows Mail>options>spelling tab>select
'always check spelling before sending'>apply.

Also:

In the language section below, change the spelling language to another
one, French>apply/ok.

Then change it back to English again>apply/ok

HTH?

In Windows mail choose tools, options, spelling, and then language, the last
option on the page. Then the spelling works.

Okay, your issue is just as that one guy said. You're going into the 'tools'
tab inside of the Email window. to fix the issue just click outside of the
email, this will not close it. When you're outside of it at the top where it
shows 'file' 'edit' all that stuff, go to tools, options, spelling, then at
the bottom it will give you a down arrow. Click on that, and make sure it
shows it as 'english'. If it does click on it again and make SUPER sure, if
not then set it once. Then, instead of clicking 'ok', click apply. This will
completely fix the issue. If not, I'm clueless.

Simple when you know how! Great advice. Thanks.

If all steps are followed and it continues to give you the same message, try
clicking on a language other than the one selected, apply and try again. For
whatever reason, my language was showing English in the drop down box, and
everything was selected, however the moment 'apply' was clicked, it would
give me the same message as before "This language is no longer available for
spell checking". Once I tried setting the default language to French, and
applied changes, and then went back again and changed it back to English, it
worked like a charm. I hope this helps.
