ThinkVantage Password Manager

When I enter a password on my computer the password manager pops up and asks
if I want it to save my password. It gives three options: yes, no and never.
I keep hitting never but the next time I log in on the same site it pops up
again. Is this a known issue? Is there a way to delete the password manager?

Thank you,

Turn off AutoComplete for Passwords. IE, Tools, Options, Content tab,
AutoComplete "Settings" button

Thanks Mark but my issue isn't with IE remembering passwords but the
ThinkVantage Password Manager. I don't know if it is part of Vista or an add

add on from Lenovo....

This is a Thinkpad utility, not any part of Vista. You have it starting with
Windows. You need to manage your Startup. First look in the ThinkVantage
Password Manager itself for options. If you can't find them:

Start Orb>Start Search box>msconfig [enter]

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation,
type the password, or click Continue. Then see what is on the Startup tab.
You don't need to restart immediately, but the next time you do you'll get
a dialog saying you've used the Utility. Usually in Vista this will be
blocked by Windows Defender and you'll need to allow it so you can then
tick the box that says in effect, "don't bother me about this again".

Important - Do not use the System Configuration Utility to stop processes.
Instead, use Start>Run>services.msc [enter] and do not stop any services
unless you really, really know what you're doing.

The free Autoruns program is very useful for managing your Startup -
