They call this a search feature?

I need a feature allowing me to find a file by
identifying a key word in the file. The search feature in
Windows 95 allowed for this.

In the search window for Windows XP, they allegedly allow
you to search for a file by identifying "a word or phrase
in the file." Despite the plain meaning of those words, I
am told by Dell customer service that this feature only
searches for words that are part of the file name or
header. Is this correct?

If it is correct, is there some cheap program upgrade or
separate program that can be purchased that will search
for files based upon a key word in the file?

To add insult to injury, the Wordperfect 10 program that
came with the computer also did not include
a "quickfinder" feature that was standard on Wordperfect
6.1. Is this a conspiracy to drive me crazy? I need to be
able to locate old files.

Your help would be appreciated!
