I have a problem changing the time zone or adding another one, because it
seems as all the time zones are somehow deleted! nothing happens when I click
on the "Change time zone" Button! i also tried system restore and the problem
didn't fix...
i am using Windows Vista Home Premium...

Dear Mark,
my BIOS doesn't have any option for changing the timezones, and it is
already the latest version! but i think the problem should be solved in
windows!

Can you check if the following key (and its subkeys) are present in the registry?

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
|_ SOFTWARE
|__ Microsoft
|___ Windows NT
|____ CurrentVersion
|_____ Time Zones

To open the registry editor, click Start, type regedit.exe and press {ENTER}

I have the same problem here with Vista Business. If I have a look in
the registry, at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
|_ SOFTWARE
|__ Microsoft
|___ Windows NT
|____ CurrentVersion
|_____ Time Zones

there is only one value:
Name = default
Type = Reg_SZ
Data = (value not set)

That's all. Any helpfull ideas?

I already found the solution. Ask somebody to make an export of the
"TimeZone" part in the registry. Import this export in your computer,
and ready!
It works again!
