The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted

Anil Gupte

I am getting the above error message when I try to configure a specific
service to log on using an account I created in Active Drirectory Users and
Computers. I actually used the browse button to select the user, so
obviously that domain and user does exist and can be seen. The computer I
am doing this from is a Windows 2000 Advanced Server and used to belong to
another (Windows NT) domain, but I have moved it over to this new domain.
What am I doing wrong?

Thanx for any assistance.
