The screen starts to flash everytime I start media player 9

Every time I start my media player 9 series, the screen
starts flashing. This occured for the first time 2 weeks
ago. I´ve had Win Xp with media player 9 for 2 months and
haven´t encountered any problems up until now. The
flashing halts when I start to play the music, but if I
press one of the buttons in the left side menu, the
flashing starts all over again. / Confused Sweed
