The "SAVRTPEL" Service failed to start

Hi,

I get a system error after each time that I boot stating that: The SAVRTPEL
service failed to start due to the following error: The system can't find the
file specified. Can anybody help me please to fix this problem? The
"Autoruns" does not show this service.

Hi Shams,
You still have Symantec files on your system, read these links and see if
you will be able to solve the issue through them.
You may receive a "Stop 0x00000020" error message on a computer that is
running Windows Small Business Server 2003 or Windows Server 2003

Download this tool and locate this file and delete:

Go through this cleaning steps:
1... Click start >> Control Panel >> Double Click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options, on the IE Properties window
you will see these Options:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs
| Advanced .

Click on General Tab (1st Tab on the left) and you will see a Button called
[ Clear History ..] click on it to clear your History caches, then click on
[Delete Files..] to delete Internet Files created over the time, click on [
Delete Cookies...] to delete your cookies left by visiting websites.

= Then try to Disable the Add-Ons on your Browser somehow installed on your
browser, On how to disable the Add-ons follow this:
Click on Programs Tab and then click the Manage Add-Ons Button there Disable
the None/Not Verified Plug-ins/Add-ons ( you need to Renable them one-by-one
later and see which is the culprit or you can send them here in your next
post) and click [OK] to confirm your Changes.

Click on Advanced Tab and scroll down under the browsing option and uncheck
this box:
[&] Browsing
[ ] Enable Third-Party browser extensions (Req Rest) and click Apply
then OK to close your IE Properties.

2.... And also for malwares from here:

Download and install after installing this software and
update then run a scan in both safe mode and normal:

Hello nass,

Just before receiving your message, from Run>cmd.exe I was able to delete
the file by following the command:
SC delete SARTPEL and then enter.

The system error message disappeared and everything looks Ok now. please
tell me should I still folllow your instruction?

I shall be grateful for your reply.

clean from malware and left behind debris.

"Autoruns" does not show this service.

Look at the "Drivers" section in Autoruns. It should show up correctly.

BTW, you can delete the service using the same "SC Delete..." command that I suggested in your another post earlier.

Dear nass,

I thank you very much. I did all what you posted and I used my registry
cleaner "jp16 powerTool" and deleted all those bad stuff. Now my system runs
beautifully and I am grateful for your help.

I'm really grateful for your care and very helpful inputs. I deleted all
those bad stuff. I also used my registry cleaner( this time,without any
fear) and cleaned up all those Norton keys. My system is flying now and I
