The page cannot be displayed

When I try and access Word 2002 help, I get the following message:
"The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be
experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser
settings"

I don't want to access the help on the internet, I want Word to look on the
Harddrive.

Where do I find the setting to change where Word looks for the Help files?

F1 to open the Help task pane. At the bottom, under "See also," click on
"Online Content Settings."

Hi Suzanne

Thanks very much for responding, this is driving me nuts.

I tried as you suggested, but there is no "See also" to click on "Online
Content Settings." I could send you a screen print but this is the right hand
panel after pressing F1:

Action canceled
Internet Explorer was unable to link to the Web page you requested. The page
might be temporarily unavailable.

So I need some more suggestions, thanks in advance

Hi Suzanne

Please disregard my previous cry for more help, I have the answer:

Go to Start/Run and type in each:

regsvr32 /u C:\Winnt\System32\hhctrl.ocx
regsvr32 C:\Winnt\System32\hhctrl.ocx

Thanks for helping, though

Charles
