"Page Cannot be displayed" error

I am receiving the "page cannot be displayed- The page you
are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site
might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may
need to adjust your browser settings" error when I go to
visit one particular website. I can view it on any other
computer and its fine- I can view any other page with no
problems. Why is this page suddenly not working on my PC?

Lindsey,

Try setting the security settings to Defaults see if it helps.

No. Last Known Goold [in case of 2000/XP] will not work in this case. You may contact the webmaster to know what security settings they recommend for visiting their site. Before that, try:

Delete the History folder and index.dat:

Try running the Winsock repair tools on the very bottom
of this page:
http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm

It is best if you run one or both of the following first:

Download/install/run Ad-Aware from:
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/
This will detect any spyware on your system. When you run Ad-Aware, click on
the ref update to get the latest up-to-date ref file, run Ad-Aware and
delete everything it finds.

If you are more advanced, then download/install/run:
Spybot - Search & Destroy from :
http://security.kolla.de/index.php?lang=en&page=download

Hope this helps.

It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.

If at ease with this tool you may wan to try it.

IPCONFIG Diagnostic Utility: Parameters and Usage

Cannot Open, Display, find - errors
