the disk is full

I am trying to save a files on a server and i kept getting
the message "the disk is full" even thought i have over
1Gb of spce on the drive. I am using Excel 2000. Any
suggestion would be nice to resolve this problem.

Do you have WRITE permissions to the Server / Folder?

Thats about all that I can think of.

I have seen that this is a problem with some servers. The suggestion
was to disable server File Cacheing - which can evidently give rise to
other problems ...............
