hey all,

i'm trying to import a form into my Access 2002 SP3 database from another
Access database (both Access 2002)and for some reason i keep getting the
following error:

The database has been placed in a state by user 'Admin' on machine 'WORKPC'
that prevents it from being opened or locked.

i'm using Office XP Developer. i've never come across this before. any
ideas?

Do you have the database in question open? Have you made any design
changes to it in the session? If you have, I think you will have been
granted exclusive access (in that Access session), so the other,
importing, Access session can't open it. Maybe -- I'm just guessing at
a possible cause.
